ABOUT THE LA PARKS FOUNDATION
Parks are an essential component of what constitutes a great city. Established as a California not-for-profit, operating under EIN 26-2358338 for the purposes of supporting the objectives of the City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Department, the Los Angeles Parks Foundation's mission is to enhance, expand, preserve and promote public recreation, parks and open space for the people of Los Angeles.
What We Do
The Foundation provides support that the City of Los Angeles is unable to offer by raising funds to improve park facilities, enhance park environments, preserve and restore historic elements in our city parks, support sustainability projects and purchase property for future parkland.
The Los Angeles Parks Foundation works with companies, both large and small, other non-profits, community groups, sponsors, partners and individuals. With over 427 parks we seek support for system wide projects and we create partnerships that benefit a single park or meet a specific need. Naming opportunities, sponsorship signage and donor recognition is available. Please help us do more for parks in the following areas of focus:
Environmental Investments: including water conservation, recycling, solar power
Community Landscape: park beautification, shade, benches, statue restorations
Recreational Capital: pool remodels, dog park upgrades, turf soccer fields, court resurfacing
Healthier Citizens: creating park walking paths, solar lighting, universal playgrounds
If you would like to fulfill immediate needs or work with the LA Parks Foundation to do more for our parks, please call our office at 310-472-1990 or contact us via email at email@example.com.
