Donate to your neighborhood park!

As a “Friend of the Parks,” you will receive email updates about events taking place in the city parks, as well as information on current projects that your contributions support.  50% of your contribution of $50.00 or more will be directed to a park of your choice.  Simply select a park from the drop-down menu on the donation page, and a portion of your donation will go directly to programs and renovations at that park.  All donations are tax deductible.  To become a "Friend of the Parks" today, please click on the button below.

The Los Angeles Parks Foundation's “Adopt-A-Park” program engages the community in enhancing our city parks.  Individuals, corporations, local groups, small businesses or non-profit organizations can “Adopt-A-Park” to meet identified needs that can immediately and directly benefit a city park.  The adoption may include, where appropriate, pairing the donation with a higher need park that may otherwise not be adopted.  This way, some revenues from a specific adoption also will benefit other parks in our city.

The Los Angeles Parks Foundation's "Donate-A-Bench" program aims to enhance and beautify our more than 400 Los Angeles city parks.  Any individual, family, business or community group can purchase a bench with a personal message on an engraved plaque to be placed in a city park of the donor's choice.

• Pricing:  Donations start at $2,500.00 for a new bench to be placed in a city park or recreation center of your choice.  A personalized plaque can be purchased for placement on an existing city park bench for $750.00.  All contributions above cost are tax deductible.
• Bench Design:  Several bench styles are available, see above. 
• Plaque Design & Inscription:  In recognition of your gift, a bronze plaque with your personalized inscription will be mounted on the top center slate of the bench.  The inscription can be made in honor of a loved one, for an anniversary remembrance, or as a gift from a civic or business organization.  The final text must be approved by the Los Angeles Parks Foundation before installation. 

The Roth Family was particularly pleased with our bench placement and plaque.  

"This Sunday we held a memorial at Glen Alla Park in memory of my brother and his dog....The bench and plaque are beatiful. The bench is a classic design with materials that will obviously withstand the test of time.  As we approached the bench, dogs and their owners were walking around and/or sitting on the bench which was placed under a beautiful young oak tree on top of a slight hill looking over the entire park....We were in immediate tears knowing the bench and its location were perfect.  During the memorial, and afterward, so many park goers came up to us and thanked us for the bench.."
