Nike’s Support for the Women Coach LA Program:

To encourage girls to play in rec sports leagues, Nike, Los Angeles Parks Foundation, and the City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Department have partnered to train women to be role models for the young female athletes. Through the Women Coach LA (WCLA) program and the Coach Plan Citywide Initiative, we hope to ensure efficient and equitable play across all sports and genders throughout City parks and recreation centers.

Women Coach LA (WCLA) is aimed at increasing the pool of trained female coaches in youth sports leagues throughout the City.
